The Our Place Always Pan: one colorful pan with a steamer and a lid, and a nonstick that wears
The Always Pan is a single 10.5 inch pan with its own lid, steamer basket and wooden spatula, in colors like blue salt and spice. But the Always Pan's ceramic nonstick wears with use, and the three-year warranty doesn't cover that wear.

A pan that looks good can stay out on the stove, and that's most of the Our Place Always Pan's appeal. That's because the Always Pan comes in soft, muted colors with a domed lid and a long handle, so it looks like it belongs in the kitchen rather than in a cupboard. And the Always Pan is among the less expensive ways to bring color to the stove, because on our price scale it sits at two dollar signs, where the cast-iron pots from Le Creuset and Staub sit at three dollar signs.
Our Place makes the Always Pan in eight colors, and we link four of those colors, all on Amazon.
You'd like one good-looking pan for everyday cooking, with a steamer basket and a lid included, and you're happy to cook on low to medium heat and wash by hand.
You cook on high heat, use metal utensils, or want a pan that goes in the dishwasher. That's because Our Place's care rules say no to high heat, metal utensils and the dishwasher.
Three years, limited, from Our Place. It doesn't cover normal wear and tear.

What the Always Pan does
The Always Pan we link is the 10.5 inch size, and it holds 2.6 quarts, so it's deep enough to boil pasta or steam vegetables in. It weighs 3.9 pounds with the lid, and its body is cast aluminum with a stainless steel base, coated inside with Our Place's ceramic nonstick, which the company says is made without PFAS, PTFE (the coating sold as Teflon), lead or cadmium.
The Always Pan comes with three extras. Those extras are a lid that lets steam out, a steamer basket that also works as a colander, and a beechwood spatula that rests across the long handle, so the spatula doesn't need a spoon rest. And Our Place calls the Always Pan a pan for ten jobs, from frying and searing to steaming, straining and serving.
The Always Pan also goes in the oven, up to 450 °F, for finishing a dish or keeping food warm.
What the Always Pan doesn't do
The Always Pan's ceramic nonstick needs looking after, and Our Place's own care rules make that plain. So Our Place says to use low to medium heat, never heat the pan empty, use a little oil, skip aerosol sprays and use only wooden or silicone utensils. And the pan is hand wash only, not dishwasher safe.
Even with that care, a ceramic nonstick surface wears with use, and some owners find food starting to stick within months. That matters for the warranty, because Our Place's three-year warranty covers defects, not normal wear and tear or minor scratches.
The Always Pan's handles can also get hot on the stove. So Our Place says to use a cloth or mitt on the long handle, the short handle and the lid knob.
The Always Pan is one pan, too. It's 10.5 inches across, so a kitchen that cooks for a crowd may still want a larger pot beside it.
What owners say about the Always Pan
On Amazon, the Always Pan 2.0 scores 4.3 out of 5 from 3,514 ratings, across the colors we link (September 2026). Owners write first about how it looks and how light it is.
"It looks beautiful in my kitchen, but more importantly, it actually performs."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, February 2026, in spice
"I bought my bigger two skillets 2 years ago, use them every day & they're still like they were brand new."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, July 2026, in blue salt
But the complaints about the Always Pan are almost all about the nonstick, and they're worth reading before you buy.
"Egg stuck all over the pan, and couldn't scrape it off with plastic utensils."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, March 2024, in blue salt
"This pan was SO GREAT … for a week. :( But even with use and care as directed, the coating has not held up and it is no longer non-stick (or usable, honestly)."
An Our Place owner, Target review, 2026
"Only drawback is that the small handle on side of the fry pan gets as hot as the pan."
An Our Place owner, Target review, 2026
So the same pan lasts years in one kitchen and stops releasing food within months in another. That's why Our Place's care rules, on heat, oil and washing, matter so much.
The Always Pan's colors, and where to buy each color
We link the Always Pan in four colors, and all four colors are sold on Amazon, so the delivery and returns follow the Amazon seller's terms.

Our Place sells its other four colors on its own website, and we don't link those. And whichever color you choose, the warranty is Our Place's.
Who makes the Always Pan
Our Place is a cookware company started by Shiza Shahid and her partner, who say they built it around cooking for friends who became family. Its Always Pan 2.0 is the newer version of the pan, and it's the version we link. And there's no recall on record for the Always Pan at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (checked September 2026).
The cookware that goes with the Always Pan
The Always Pan is one pan, so a kitchen that cooks a lot may want a set beside it. That's the gap Caraway's set fills, with four ceramic nonstick pans, a rack and a lid holder to store them, in marigold, navy and more. The Caraway set's own article covers that set color by color.

And the colorful cookware guide sets the Always Pan beside the cast-iron pots and the other colorful pans we list.
