The Cuisinart Precision Master stand mixer: quieter colors and a three-year warranty, in colors Cuisinart no longer makes

The Cuisinart Precision Master has a 5.5-quart bowl, a 500-watt motor and a three-year warranty, in a soft frosted blue. But Cuisinart has stopped making its three colors, so the frosted blue mixer on Amazon is the one to choose while Amazon still has it.

Most stand mixers on a colorful counter are bright, a red or a pastel you notice from the doorway. But the Cuisinart Precision Master comes in softer colors, frosted blue, agave green and dove gray, which sit quietly beside white or gray kitchen cabinets. And the Cuisinart mixer's warranty is three years, from Cuisinart.

The Cuisinart mixer comes with one catch, though, and the catch is worth knowing first. That catch is that Cuisinart's own site marks all three colors as discontinued, and sells the Precision Master only in White Linen, which we don't link. So Amazon is where the three colors are now. And in September 2026, Amazon had frosted blue in stock, dove gray down to its last mixer and agave green unavailable.

What the Cuisinart Precision Master does

The Cuisinart Precision Master has a 5.5-quart bowl of polished stainless steel and a 500-watt motor. Then a dial on the side chooses among 12 speeds, and the head tilts back so you can lift the bowl out. And the body is die-cast metal, which owners say keeps the mixer steady at its highest speed.

The Cuisinart mixer comes with a chef's whisk, a dough hook, a flat paddle and a splash guard with a pour spout. But Cuisinart sells the pasta, grinder and other attachments separately.

The Cuisinart mixer is 14.1 inches tall, 14.2 inches long and 7.9 inches wide. So measure the space under your upper cabinets before you choose a spot for the mixer.

What the Cuisinart Precision Master doesn't do

The Cuisinart Precision Master won't stay on sale in these colors. That's because Cuisinart has discontinued frosted blue, agave green and dove gray, so once Amazon sells the last of each color, that color is gone. And Cuisinart's own store doesn't sell this mixer in Colorado, Maine or Minnesota.

The Cuisinart mixer's head tilts back to free the bowl, and that needs room above it. So one owner below can slide the mixer under the cabinets but can't raise the head there, and has to pull it out to use it. And another owner found two small faults, a bowl that vibrated loose and a splash guard that doesn't clip in.

The Cuisinart mixer won't match a toaster or kettle from us either, because we list no other Cuisinart piece in these colors. So for a matching counter, Smeg's own stand mixer comes in the same pastels, red, cream and white as the Smeg toaster, with a one-year warranty.

What owners say about the Cuisinart Precision Master

On Amazon, the Precision Master scores 4.7 out of 5 from 418 ratings, across the colors we link (September 2026). Owners write most about how steady the mixer feels, and several of them chose it over a better-known name.

"It has 12 speeds which is great and a speed guide around the speed dial which is very handy for a beginner like me! And it's nice and heavy so the mixer stays put on the highest speed."

Amazon customer, verified purchase, June 2023, in frosted blue

"I feel like this mixes just as well as my mom's kitchen aid mixer, but was cheaper. I can't speak in comparison for longevity though as my mom still has her kitchen aid and I just purchased this."

But the complaints about the Cuisinart mixer are worth reading too, and they're about fit, not power.

"It fits under on my counter and slides under the top cabinets without issue. But it won't raise up under the cabinet."

The same owner, October 2025

"Also keep an eye on the bowl, it slowly vibrated out of the locked position. Finely, the pouring add on does not clip into place and is loose so it's kind of hard to use."

The dove gray owner still gave the Cuisinart mixer four stars, and made peanut butter bread in it.

How the Cuisinart Precision Master compares with the other stand mixers we list

The Cuisinart Precision Master has the largest bowl and the most speeds of the three stand mixers we list, and the longest warranty that any of the three makers states. But the Cuisinart mixer has the fewest colors, and Cuisinart has stopped making all of them.

So the Cuisinart mixer suits a kitchen that wants one quiet color and a long warranty. And a kitchen that wants a stronger color, or a mixer that matches other pieces, is better served by the KitchenAid or the Smeg.

The Cuisinart Precision Master's colors, and where to buy each color

The Cuisinart Precision Master's three colors are all sold on Amazon, and we link each color. But in September 2026, frosted blue was the only color Amazon had in good supply. So frosted blue is the color we show here.

Amazon's returns follow the seller on each listing, so check who sells your mixer before you order. And whichever seller you choose, the warranty is Cuisinart's.

Who makes the Cuisinart Precision Master

Cuisinart makes the Precision Master and backs the mixer for three years. That warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use for 3 years from the date you bought the mixer, and it's for buyers in the US only. So keep your Amazon order as the proof of the date.

As for safety, there's no recall on record for this mixer at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (checked September 2026). And Cuisinart's recalls on record are for grill brushes, a gas grill, a blender and juicer, and food processors, and none of them covers the Precision Master.
